Pointers For Working Sound On X86/X64 BASIC Engine LT?

Good evening, everyone! Finally getting back at the BASIC Engine stuff, after a very hectic summer and early autumn.

For working with BASIC Engine LT, I've settled on using three old laptops, a Dell M4700, Dell E6230, and a Lenovo T540p. - mostly using the Lenovo T540p (using v.90-435 on all three) . Trying to RUN loader.bas for the MOD player gives a compiler error. I can't seem to get sound via PLAY or BEEP (made sure volume was turned up via Alsa mixer). Any tips are greatly appreciated.

I had a problem with the MOD player on the laptop under Linux and Windows versions. Must be a driver issue.

Gadgetjack Thank you for the reply and my apologies for the delay in responding, Gadgetjack! Life has been wild this last year, and has kept me away from most all hobbies for months.

Is there a Windows version? I'd dig trying that out! I've been using the LT version on x86/x64, and the NG Arm version. I have no issues with BEEP and PLAY. I reckon the MOD player doesn't load at all, due to the compiler error thrown.
